Not the result we wanted, but a development for sure. Its great what we keep a clean sheet. Offensively we were not dangerous enough. We had so much ball possession, and did get quite a few shots up, but we did not have clear chances. You got to respect greece, their low block is tough to play against and we didnt find many solutions. One of the bright spots were Scherhant, who was always going for these 1vs1 situations, his crosses were bad, but his drive to the goal and his confidence gave us a lot. I think in the next international break we will see a lot different games, the Netherlands dont defend in a low block, and we already have seen how we can crack Serbias low block. But Klopp needs to come up with better/more ideas to play against a low block of greeces quality and with him already saying hes not gonna call up 44 players again, I think that will make things easier, as he can focus on a lineup more oriented on the opponent. Im very excited for whats to come. These games were very interesting and I think we got a lot of information out of them. I cant wait for the next nomination.

Hell Yeah, I was so fired up watching this game. We dominated from minute 1 till 90, everything worked out for us. We were great in all 4 phases of the game, in possession was probably our best of the 4, we were fluid, we had ideas, we attecked the space in behind really well, we found the pockets, and Flo Wirtz looked nothing like the 30 minutes against Greece and more like him again. The energy was there, you felt like the players on the pitch want it so bad. We really had some great performances by some debutants/new faces, Scherhant impressed me in the first half, Bischof was great, Treu was solid, and then the substitutions of Bamba Conte and Mika Baur also were good. Klopp talked a lot about out defensive stability being the key to success through bringing structure. And finally keeping a clean sheet feels amazing. The way we defended was awesome, Serbia only had 1 shot, we had a great counter press and were really agressive, although you could still see who plays with an agressive counter press in their club and is used so it and who isnt. For example the Bayern players had no big adjustment to make theyre already drilled to press the opponent to death, but someone like Said El Mala, I really noticed, when he got subbed on, that he has to adapt that mindset still, its not a matter of course for him yet. But we‘ll get there.

Had to rewatch this. This is the greatest football match ever, the highest quality of football the earth has seen yet. Of course Bayern losing this game hurts, but the pain is overshadowed by the pure awe I have watching this. This is art. Unfortunately the false penalty decision on Davies‘ handball happened, other than that the ref was great. I hope that PSG and Bayern will face off yet again this season. I cant wait.
