Absolute bangurrrrrssss. Felix showing why he should be the Jamie tartt of this team. Not Bruno. Which I agree with, Jorge Jesus seems to be figuring out who he likes and where, great to see Neto not play football too today. Shame Conceição played but we take what we can get.

Lamine yamal once again showing why he’s the best player itw. Pedri and Rodri silencing the doubters. Was hoping to see more of Roberto Fernandez today, he didn’t get much of the action today. Feel like if they involved him a bit more, Spain would’ve been more threatening. But other than this, it was just another convincing win for Spain, nothing new.

Zizou returns to France but it certainly wasn’t the return he wanted. France looked threatening when olise and cherki would get on the ball. But the lack of a proper number 9 showed today. Whenever Dembele got the ball in dangerous areas it looked like he always hesitated. Of the attack Olise was certainly the best of the 4, Doue looked sharp aswell. Especially considering he was facing Kayode, who also played a good game. A shame Da Cunha made the mistake he did because he was playing a great game in that regista role for Zidane. Great to see Zizou give players from smaller teams a chance. Upamecano and Truffert were great today. However as we all know Upamecano has that bozo gene in him, and it showed again today. Other than the two yellows he played a perfect game. Italy are still figuring out their lineup, considering this today was a very promising performance. The defense as a unit was impeccable, throwing themselves in front of every strike. But they certainly struggled to beat France’s high pressing. Fratessi should’ve scored in the first half from the long throw, but you can see why he plays in this Mancini system. Today he was italys most impressive midfielder, and probably the most impressive of the whole game. Constantly running, and occupying the defenders while making threading runs in behind too. Now for the attack, Pio looked very strong on the ball and you could see jaquet and Upamecano struggled backing him down. For a striker of his age it’s scary to see how much trouble he causes with simply one touch or holding the ball up. Moise Kean was lackluster but not his fault as he was isolated in a position that isn’t his. As for the other Esposito he was fine, nothing to applaud nor worry about. Italy look promising although they’re certainly missing some attacking weapons, and France might need to figure out their number one lineup too within these next couple windows.

England go up and give it away again! But not because they soaked up pressure, they’re midfield simply lost control of the game. Once Kane missed the opportunity to go up 2 goals, Spain capitalized by be proactive. De la fuente subs on baena and oyarzabal, the two contributors to two goals in the second half for Spain. Then Pedri comes on and the game was in spains hands. Not soon after the goal came. This match highlights the differences in coaching between Tuchel and De LaFuente. Tuchel only reacted once Spain equalized. Classic example of why England will struggle to succeed in the near future even though their talent pool is amazing. Yamal was good, but I thought he could’ve made a couple better decisions on the counter.Dani Olmo suprised me with his performance,but I shouldn’t be so suprised because I think we’ve entered that patch of form of his. Rodri;Class. Gordon was great, especially considering he was facing a great opponent in Mark Pubill at right back. Bellingham again showing why he’s so great with the assist to Gordon. But other than that I didn’t see much from him. Saka and Kane very dissapointing, especially Saka. Watching wingers tear cucurella apart this season has been great television. When I saw the Saka matchup I was licking my lips, but he left me wanting more.
